SHS Library Club provides educational and community service experiences through its projects and programs. It also encourages students to explore through reading various mediums. There is no prerequisite for a student to join. All grades are welcomed. Also, all members are encouraged to take a leadership role within their class. We meet every third Wednesday in the media center and dues are $20 annually, which includes the club tee shirt.
Our services projects include but are not limited to the following: 1) Adopt an Angel; 2) Adopt our Library; 3) Adopt the Special Needs Class; 4) Aggie Camp; 5) American Red Cross; 6) Black History Month Program; 7) Can Food Drive; 8) Christmas Tree Trimming Ceremony; 9) Nursing Homes/ARC visit; 10) Read Across America/Dr. Seuss Birthday; 11) Relay for Life Team; 12) Veterans Day Program; and 13) World Read Aloud Day
